A locutorio is a call-shop where immigrants and travelers can make phone calls. But do these establishments bring people together or drive us further apart? If we prick up our ears, we can hear how the phone conversations of immigrants peel off the layers that are concealed beneath the concept of the nation, revealing the fact that the nation is a literary construct and that literature is, in turn, a reflection of love.
